Book Review: Love Letters To The Dead By Ava Dellaira

I just finished reading this book tonight. I really wanted to talk about it. So this will be a review/me fangirling over this. I drawn to this not because of the YA book community. Shocking I know. I was look at books at the library and found it among the other books. The synopsis hooked when I saw Kurt Cobain. If you watch my main YouTube channel, you know I'm obsessed with him. Honestly I didn't know about hype around this til after I googled the playlist.
This book is told in letter format. The main character writes to dead celebrities/writers to overcome a huge life crisis. Her older sister May,died. It doesn't explain how she dies til pretty late book. Overall it's a coming of age story of a freshman girl name Laurel.
This book contains a lot of references. I adore references. So it is basically,my cup of tea. My favorite letters were to Kurt Cobain. I loved the Nirvana references. Tho most of the songs were from " In Utero". I've learn to give that album more love because of this book.
Some thing I found cool was the people she wrote to. A lot of time a characters was connected to celebrity/writer. I notice that towards the end of the book. It made this book a little cooler.
I did enjoy this book so much. I will be putting a video on it. Also a lot of  people compare this,"Perks of being a Wallflower". The format is very similar. I'll try to comparison of these books during this month. So please watch out for that. So til next time, bye.

Book Review: Gossip Girl books 1 to 3

Two book reviews in a row. Yay. I've had really good reading month so there should be more coming. Anyway I've been into the Gossip Girls books. This a review on first 3 books.
It's a very quick easy short read. Books 1 to 3 all range from 200 -225 pages. It shouldn't take more then 1 day if you're into it. I read the 1st and 3rd under 24 hrs. The 2nd one took me a few days. I honestly didn't like the 2nd as much. It is a series you should read on order. I plan to read as of the series as I can.

Book Review: Annabel by Lauren Oliver

I just finish this novella and I had to do a review. First off, yes I gave this 5 stars. I finished the delirium series a year ago. The only other delirium novella, I've read was "Hanna". I wasn't every impress.
Recently I was in the library and saw the bind-up verison of the novellas. I thought why not. So I borrowed it. Tonight I was in mood for a light read so I read it.OMG. It was amazing. Honestly it reminded me why I love the series in the first place. Lena is very similar to her mom. It's also cool to see carol before she was aunt carol. All in all this series makes want to hug the people I love. To keep the people close me close. The mood was very much like the first book.

Book review: nineteen minutes by Jodi Picoult

This book is about a high school shotting. A boy Peter has been bully all his life and does this. It's also more then that but very hard to explain. I personally loved this book. It was my  first Jodi picoult book but I know that she'll be one favorite authors. This book really makes you think. It made me kind of rethink a lot of things.
I loved Peter so much. He's lovable character. Tho he was kind of a villain (in a way). Josie liked more in flashback . This story says a lot of the price of popularity  in high school.

***** 5 stars
I'm going to put up a blog with all my anonations by tommrow.

Book Review: Boy meet boy

By David leviathan
185  pages
** 2 stars

I know this is pretty rare. 2 posts less then 48 hrs apart. Anyway today I'm talking about Boy meets Boy. I want to like this book so bad. It's pretty about a town with mostly gay people. It's actually rare to be " straight ". This book tried too hard to be gay.  The story is what I had a problem with not the characters. I like most of characters. Overall this was a pretty short book but slow down my reading cause I didn't fully enjoy it.

What I'm currently reading ??

I decided to put a blog post since my internet isn't good enough to upload videos right now. Also I've really bad with uploading videos I know I'm really sorry. I have tons pre record content for my book channel this month.
Anyway here goes my sort of February tbr. I decided to do own readathon. Readatons are really good helper when you're in the mood to read a lot. I'm trying to make daily goals for myself to read. I know the #yearathon is going on and I'm trying. I'll talking about that later

Sisterhood of the traveling pants by anne brashares
Currently on page 113
This is kind of a reread. It's a book I've started but never finished. I've always like this story. I like reading differnt movie and book. Tho because I watched the movie first I imagine the actor as the characters in my mind. It's a really good book. I will defiantly do a review. I'm really looking forward to continue this series. Since there isn't individual movies on them.

Harry potter and the philosophers stone by jk Rowling
Currently on chapter 8
I used to own this in a physical verison in English but with all our moves I've seemed to have lost it. The funny thing about this is I've never read it. As kid i was introducted to Harry potter til the movie was already on DVD. I first saw it in japan at my uncles house. I fell in love with the story and have seen all the movies. I've gotten the 1st few books. With the yearathon theme being Harry potter month I thought why not. This is my first time getting into the book verison. I'm in love with it. Btw I'm listen to it on audio. Yes it is the British version. I thought it was fitting. I will talk about iy in a video or another blog post.

Lying game book 5 by Sara Shepard

This the 5 book in the lying game series. It's the same old same old. I'm reading it ebook format on my iphone. My kindle broke( will do a post on it too)

January TBR

So this month's theme is quick and easy. Most of these are under 200 pages. Thou my college application process is pretty much over. I know I'll be busy. I just don't want to bite off more then I can chew. Also my goal for this year is 50 books. I hope to achieve it this year. Let us pray Lol.

Books I didn't finish in December:

Fake Boyfriend by Kate Brian

Lane and Vivi have had it with Isabelle Hunter's boyfriend, Shawn Littig (a.k.a. Sluttig). He is the only person who can turn their smart, confident best friend into a complete mess. When Shawn Sluttig cheats on and dumps Izzy just months before the prom she's been planning since the ninth grade, Lane and Vivi decide to take action.

With a few quick keystrokes, they create a MySpace page for "Brandon," the perfect guy to get Izzy out of her revolving-door relationship with Shawn. Too bad he's totally fake. Vivi's younger brother, Marshall, who they hire to be the "man" behind the profile, is way too into being Izzy's fake boyfriend. So they turn to cute, prep-school Jonathan to be the face of Brandon. But when Vivi falls for Jonathan, and Sluttig tries to wedge his way back into Izzy's prom picture, the whole plan starts to go south faster than you can say "fake boyfriend."
